The Pudu T300 Towing is an autonomous mobile robot configured to hook to, transport, and automatically unhook from wheeled carts and trailers — addressing the repetitive push-pull labor that moves material between warehouse zones, production lines, and kitting cells. Rather than carrying goods on an onboard platform, the towing configuration couples to existing carts already in use at a facility, with Pudu stating that no modifications are required to existing trailers. Once the robot delivers a cart to its destination and unhooks, it can immediately switch to the next task, maximizing utilization in continuous shift operations. The towing version weighs 90 kg and is rated to tow up to 400 kg with a counterweight, at a maximum speed of 0.8 m/s.

Navigation is handled by a combination of VSLAM and LiDAR SLAM, eliminating fixed path markers and supporting routes that can adapt to evolving factory and warehouse layouts. A safety architecture aligned with ISO 3691-4 uses a multi-sensor stack including LiDAR and depth cameras for obstacle detection and collision avoidance — critical in towing mode, where the extended footprint of a coupled cart increases the system's turning envelope and stopping distance. Onboard features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen for local operation, indicator lights, audible alerts, and a power-assist mode for manual pushing when required. Runtime at full towing load is 6 hours.
