The UBTECH U1 Pro is a full-size, hyper-bionic humanoid companion robot from UBTECH Robotics, the Shenzhen-based, Hong Kong–listed company (HKEX: 9880). Offered under UBTECH's consumer brand UWORLD, the U1 Pro is a mid-tier full-size model in the U1 line, designed around lifelike presence, natural conversation, and long-term companionship rather than factory or warehouse labor. Its defining characteristic is a remarkably realistic, human-like appearance: a silicone exterior engineered to mimic human skin texture, complete with realistic hair, expressive eyes, and camera-tracking gaze. It is offered in two full-size variants — a male model at 183 cm and approximately 42 kg, and a female model at 168 cm and approximately 35.2 kg — keeping weight relatively low for safer interaction and easier balance during bipedal movement.

At the heart of the U1 Pro is a Memory-Emotional AI Model, an onboard system built for interactive, growth-based engagement rather than scripted responses. It can analyze facial expressions, tone of voice, and speaking patterns to estimate the user's emotional state and adapt its conversation, offering supportive dialogue when a person appears stressed or unhappy. The platform delivers 88 degrees of freedom across the body for natural-looking motion of the arms, legs, hands, neck, chest, and torso; local encrypted memory storage that keeps conversations on-device; Wi-Fi connectivity for network and companion-app access; and offline processing for sensitive interactions. It can stand, sit, and walk across flat indoor surfaces using taught gait patterns — drawing on the engineering heritage of UBTECH's Walker series — but is not engineered for stairs, rough terrain, household chores, or user reprogramming.
