Description
The Casbot Handle L1 is a five-finger anthropomorphic robotic hand engineered as an end-effector for humanoid robots and embodied-operation platforms. Showcased at China's World Robot Conference as a lightweight dexterous hand, it brings human-style interaction to robot bodies, coordinating finger motion for stable force-closure grasps, precision pinches and controlled object repositioning.
Casbot packages actuation, transmission, sensing and control into one tightly integrated unit, keeping the hand compact and easy to deploy. Multi-dimensional perception that draws on tactile, force and vision cues supports adaptive grasping and reliable execution when objects vary in shape, weight distribution or surface grip. At a reported single-hand weight of around 800 g with a rated payload of about 5 kg, the L1 keeps distal mass low so robot arms retain balance and smooth motion while still handling meaningful loads.
As the standard tier of the Handle L1 line, it suits integrators and teams wanting a ready-to-fit dexterous hand for picking and placing varied geometries, handling everyday tools, and contact-rich manipulation, as well as research into grasp planning, slip detection and learning-based control.
