Description
The AgiBot OmniHand Pro 2025 is a premium, anthropomorphic five-finger dexterous robot hand aimed at precision manipulation and research. It carries 19 total degrees of freedom—12 independently motor-driven and 7 compliant passive—so the most dexterity-critical joints, including a fully opposable four-DOF thumb, receive fine control while underactuated joints conform to object shape. In standard form it weighs roughly 750 g, with fully sensorised builds reaching about 950 g.
Its standout capability is multi-modal sensing at 0.1 N resolution across tactile, force and proprioceptive channels, letting the hand react to slip, soft-object deformation and friction changes in real time. A modular fingertip design swaps standard, high-density gel or ESD-safe pads in minutes, and an optional palm 6-axis force/torque sensor enables whole-hand control. Sold as a standalone accessory compatible with AgiBot's A2 Ultra and X2 Ultra plus third-party arms and cobots, it ships with an open-source SDK (Python and C++), CANFD and RS485 interfaces, and IP42-to-IP54 protection options.
