Description
The Unitree AS2 (Air variant) is an entry-level industrial quadruped robot within the AS2 family. The AS2 Air preserves the core mechanical platform—12-DOF quadruped layout, size, and base mobility—while using a lighter sensor and battery configuration than Pro/Edu variants.
Standing 72 cm long and weighing approximately 18 kg, the AS2 reaches 3 m/s maximum speed with up to 2 hours runtime. The platform handles 30-degree slopes and operates across a wide -20°C to 50°C temperature range.
The AS2 Air provides an accessible entry point for teams exploring quadruped robotics for entertainment, industrial demonstration, and inspection prototyping without the full sensor suite of higher-tier variants.
